Contact:
Michael Berres, 360/383-9213
Tammy Bengen, 383-9207
For planning purposes,
it is important that students register during the March 7-11
week. However, if you were unable to register your child during this
registration week, you should try to do so as soon as possible thereafter.
Placement of students in their neighborhood
school in kindergarten is on a first come, first serve basis. Please
take time to register your
child during the designated week.
To be eligible to register for kindergarten,
a child must be five years of age prior to
midnight on August 31, 2005. The child’s birthdate will be verified
at the time of enrollment
by birth certificate, baptismal certificate or a hospital birth registration.
Parents
will also be asked about dates of immunizations, as state law requires
the
child must be fully immunized before he/she begins school. Parents
who do not have
immunization records available during registration week can register
the child at this time,
but all necessary records must be complete and on file at the school
prior to the first day of
school.
If you have any questions regarding kindergarten registration,
you may call the
