SCOTT LARRABEE

Coach |
Coach Larrabee is entering his 4th season as head boys basketball coach at FHS. Prior to his arrival, Coach Larrabee spent two seasons at Shelbyville High School in Indiana. He has also been an assistant at the University of Alaska Anchorage and a graduate assistant at Angelo State University in Texas. Before his coaching days, Coach Larrabee played college basketball atthe University of Alaska Anchorage from 1996-2000. He teaches physical education at FHS. Coach Larrabee's family includes his wife, Kellie, and 2 year old son, Bryant. |
JIM TURNER

Coach Turner has been involved with Ferndale basketball since 1994. He was instrumental in establishing the Ferndale Girls AAU Program and has coached in both the Boys and Girls AAU Programs. Jim is currently in his 6th year as a FHS Varsity Assistant (3 years in girls program and 3 years in boys program). Jim is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and currently works for Anvil Corp. as a Program Manager. Jim and his wife, June Jaeger have two children: Carly who is a junior at UW and Garrett who is a senior at FHS. |
ANTHONY SMITH
JV
Coach |
This is Coach Smith's 3rd season as a JV basketball coach at FHS. He has also coached at Whatcom Community College. Coach Smith graduated from WWU with a degree in Human Services. Currently, Coach Smith is retired from the United States Navy. He has a wife, Nikki, and two children: Malaysia, 2 and Anthony, 10. |
MIKE IVY

Coach Ivy is in his 5th year of coaching basketball at FHS. He loves to coach the freshmen because they have a strong desire to learn. Mike is married to his wife Karen. They have three children, Aaron 30, Samantha 23, and Heath 21, all graduates of Ferndale High School. |
