Science is a wonderful field in which the student can learn to solve problems through investigation and making decisions from information that they gather. This is much like the real world where we have to constantly make choices about everything we do each and every day.

What do we need? It is information! So each day we use this scientific process. Science is important if it is used only for this one reason. The more we know about the world that we live in, the better we will be able to survive in our future endeavors.
