Ferndale Schools forming new Task Forces

Ferndale School District is forming a number of new task forces this spring: Middle School Program Task Force, School Boundary Task Force and Special Education Task Force. These task forces are related to the school board’s decisions to move the sixth grade from elementary school to middle school and to close one elementary school.


Fundraiser for Ferndale High School Band

FHS Band Boosters will hold a garage sale and family fun day May 5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the FHS Gymnasium (5830 Golden Eagle Drive) to benefit the FHS Band and Color Guard Uniform Drive. Garage sale, craft and antique vendors onsite, along with family entertainment and food booths. Admission is free.

FFA Plant Sale


Release Date: April 23, 2012

Ferndale High School FFA is sponsoring its annual plant sale next week. Choose from a variety of packaged annuals, hanging baskets and vegetable plants. The greenhouse is overflowing.

Sale dates are:
Thursday, May 3, 1-6:00 pm
Friday, May 4, 1-6:00 pm
Saturday, May 5, 9 am-1:00 pm

All plants were raised by Ferndale High School students. All money raised supports FFA students.
