Ferndale School District Superintendent Linda Quinn visited 11 schools on Wednesday, opening day for the 2009-10 school year, introducing herself to teachers and students. She will visit Beach Elementary School on Friday of this week.

Mrs. Quinn told students she was glad to be in Ferndale and she wished each of them a great school year.

This is Quinn's first year in the district as superintendent.
