Ferndale High School presents West Side Story based on the original conception of Jerome Robbins. Performances are March 1, 2, 3 and 8, 9, 10 at 7:00 p.m., FHS Auditorium, 5830 Golden Eagle Drive, Ferndale.

About West Side Story: On the streets of New York City, two street gangs the Jets (Americans) and the Sharks (Puerto Ricans) battle to protect their turf. In the midst of rivalry a Jet, Tony falls in love with a Sharks’ girl, Maria. Meeting secretly, their love grows. A final rumble for territory ends tragically. Those left behind try to envision a place free of prejudice.

Tickets will be sold at the door starting one hour before curtain: Adults $10, Seniors/Students $7, Children under six are free.
