1. Read the three short sections on the right side menu:

   This three-minute task covers the basic information about student homelessness. When done, click on the STAFF: Homeless Student Training link to return here.

2. View the three sections in the menu above:

   You don’t need to read the content pieces under these buttons—just spend a couple of minutes seeing where the resources are in the event that you need to find them. When done, click on the STAFF: Homeless Student Training link to return here.

3. Watch the short video on homelessness:
   • Open the "60 minutes Video and Article Links" button (click here)
   • Select the top link (“Hard Times Generation: Homeless Kids [VIDEO]”).

   This clip from CBS’ “60 Minutes” show runs approximately 13 minutes. We decided to use this clip because other groups have found it educational and inspiring. We also felt that it would be more effective to learn about homelessness from actual homeless students than present you with more fact sheets. We would like to get rid of the short commercial but there isn’t a way to legally do so.

4. Click on the Student Homelessness Awareness Quiz. It’s a short, five-question quiz that verifies your participation in the training. Click on the "Start Quiz" button and answer each question. At the end, you will see how your answers compare with the correct answers.

   Be sure to REGISTER after taking the quiz by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page. Without registering, we will not have a way to verify you participated in the training.
