Full-Time Student
In order for a student to be considered full-time at Ferndale High School, the student must be attending 7 of the 8 class periods available. Students with less than 7 classes will be reported as part-time students on all school attendance verification forms.

Diplomas
Students who graduate from Ferndale School District and have paid all outstanding fines will receive a diploma. We DO NOT keep copies of diplomas. If you have lost your diploma, please request an official transcript (which will show graduation date) as proof of your graduation.

Withdrawal
Since Ferndale high schools are on a block system, our withdrawal process takes two school days. Please contact the registrar’s office at 360-383-9253 when you know you will be moving and withdrawing a student to ensure a smooth and easy transition for your student.

Students may not withdraw themselves. The day BEFORE their last day of classes your student should pick up their withdrawal forms from the main office (at Clearview and Windward) or the registrar’s office, RM 405 (at Ferndale Main Campus). Students will get teacher signatures and grades for Blue day as they go through the regular class day. They will bring the form home for parent signature and complete the process the following day to get their Gold day signatures and grades. Signatures are required from the Library and ASB office to ensure all materials, books, fine/fees have been returned or paid. Completed forms MUST be returned to the registrar’s office (or Clearview/Windward main office) before the student leaves on their final day. A copy of transfer grades, transcript and immunizations will be given to the student for the new school. All books must be returned and fines paid for a transcript to be included.
