- Etymology is the study of the origins of words. If you can figure out how words developed, vocabulary work becomes simpler. The E.L. Easton, Inc. site is an extensive collection of etymological sources.
- Greek and Latin roots also relate to etymology. The site "A Basic Curriculum" offers a collection of word origins from Greek and Latin.
