District Hires Transportation Director

Ray Nicholson has been hired as Ferndale School District’s Director of Transportation.
Most recently, Ray has served for seven years in a similar position in the Clarkston School District in eastern Washington. Before that, he worked as the vice president in charge of operations for a software development company, a consultant for information technology and management services, an assistant branch manager for a computer services corporation, a senior programmer and software developer for an insurance company, and a communications technician in the U.S. Navy.
School district superintendent Linda Quinn said "Ray brings a wealth of experience and expertise, and I am confident he will do a great job for us."
Ray begins his position with the district August 29.
