This is Superintendent Quinn. We are continuing to negotiate with our teachers. We worked through Thursday night until 2:00 a.m. Friday morning, and then we started again at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.

We value our teachers. The issues are very complex. However, we are confident that, with the help of a mediator, we can resolve our differences

I am sorry for any hardship this has caused you and your family. Your children are our top priority. When they come back to school, we want to be able to give them our full attention and the best possible education. Thank you for your patience.
