  1. Rewrite of End of Year/Begin the Year Paragraph.
  2. Check in with Rob



Day 17 - 1/3
  1. Boggle.
  2. Daily Review of Oral Language.  Mug Shot Sentences.
  3. Rewrite of End of Year Paragraph.  If you were not here or did not begin... Write a Begin the Year Paragraph.  I want a a multi-paragraph essay about what you will do in 2006.  Use complete sentences, details, capital letters.  It should be hand written and double spaced.



Day 16 - 12/19
  1. Boggle or Scattergories, let them choose, 10-15 minutes.
  2. Q.o.t.D. #3:  I want a multi-paragraph End of Year essay about what you will be doing for the last part of 2005.  Use complete sentences, details, capital letters.  It should be hand written and double spaced. 
  3. Exchange it with another student for their suggestions.  Consider all of the above when giving feedback to your classmates.
  4. Rewrite it.

Day 14 - 12/14

  2. Mid-Term Grades: Meet with Rob, work day.



Day 13 - 12/13

  4. Brainstorm: What does a paragraph need.  Refer to Q.o.t.D. #1.
  5. Write a paragraph on the following prompt: What good are standardized tests like the WASL?  What is your experience with test-taking?  Are you a good test-taker, why or why not?



Day 12 - 12/9
  1. Q. o. t. D. #1: Write down as many English writing rules that you know. Consider: Convections-spelling, Capitalization, Punctuation, Paragraphs, Sentencing, etc.



Day 11 - 12/7
