
Skyline
Elementary was erected in 1980. The school was re-roofed in 1999.
One
of 20 schools named by the state of Washington as a School for
the 21st Century in 1988, Skyline has developed innovative
new programs to meet the diverse needs of students both gifted
and at risk.
In
1992 Skyline Elementary was named by Washington State and the U.S.
Department of Education as a School of Excellence.
The
access/egress safety and separation of bus, vehicular
and pedestrian traffic is a top priority for Skyline.
