Presently the Memorial Field Complex is used less than ten times per year. The upgrades to the complex including the installation of artificial turf will give us the capacity to utilize the field more than 200 times per year.

The facility will become a place that can be used by a variety of groups, including the Ferndale High School Football, Soccer, Track and Band programs. Additionally, our middle schools and community groups, such as Boys’ and Girls’ Club, Red Lion Soccer, the YMCA, and others will have access to the complex.

Upgrades include:

• Install artificial turf and resurface track including interior drainage
• Add restrooms on home side
• Handicap accessibility
• New visitor seating
• Enlarge and upgrade concessions
• Install new PA system/scoreboard
