Classified as a remote and necessary school by the state, Beach Elementary is located on Lummi Island.

The building was built in 1920 with an additional 2,809 square feet added in 1978.

Plumbing improvements are needed.

Most importantly, a separate bus traffic and parent/pedestrian traffic area is required to ensure safety of students.

Proposed replacement of old piping, adding sidewalk with curbing, parking and signage will be addressed.

As we begin to address the projects, designs will be developed.
